Join Premier Foods — where people, brands and purpose come together.

We’re one of Britain’s biggest food companies, with a portfolio of much-loved brands found in around 94% of UK households. From Mr Kipling, Bisto and Batchelors to Ambrosia, Sharwood’s, Oxo and more, our brands are part of everyday life for millions of people. We’re listed on the UK Stock Exchange, generate annual revenues in excess of £1bn, and employ over 4,000 colleagues across 14 locations.

We’re looking for a Senior Compliance Manager to join our Legal and Secretarial team — a central, highly regarded and impactful function that moves at pace and partners closely with the business.

This is a brilliant opportunity to help shape our compliance framework, drive effective risk-based monitoring, and champion a strong culture of compliance across Premier Foods.

What you'll be doing?

As Senior Compliance Manager, you’ll play a key role in ensuring Premier Foods and its subsidiaries meet their legal, regulatory and corporate governance obligations. You’ll take ownership of our legal compliance programme, helping to develop policies, strengthen controls, monitor regulatory change, and support the business in managing compliance risk effectively.

You’ll work closely with colleagues across the business, including Legal, Risk & Controls, Internal Audit, senior leaders and key stakeholders, providing practical advice and helping to embed a proactive, ethical and commercially aware approach to compliance.

  • Leading and developing the company’s legal compliance programme, including policies and controls covering Competition, Prevention of Fraud, GDPR, Sanctions, and Anti-Bribery and Corruption.
  • Monitoring compliance with laws, regulations and internal policies, and advising the business on new and changing national and international regulatory requirements.
  • Reviewing marketing materials, presentations and websites to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Managing the sanctions checking process, acting as an escalation point and resolving issues where needed.
  • Assessing business processes, transactions and documents to identify potential compliance weaknesses and risks, working with Risk & Controls and Internal Audit.
  • Supporting monitoring and audit activity, investigating reported or suspected non-compliance, and assisting with information gathering in response to regulatory requests.
  • Creating reports for the ELT, Audit Committee and Board on compliance performance, risk and findings.
  • Developing plans to manage potential compliance crises or violations before they become wider issues.
  • Championing a strong compliance culture, promoting ethical conduct and helping the business avoid legal, financial and reputational risk

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
