Senior Compliance Manager
Location: London, Barbican (Office-Based, 5 Days per Week)
Pay Rate: £536.00 - £596.00 per day (inside IR35)
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Length: 12 month contract
About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Fleet Compliance Manager to build and lead a best-in-class compliance framework across a large transport network. This is a unique opportunity to create standards, audit programmes and assurance processes from the ground up, ensuring fleet operations remain safe, compliant and operationally efficient.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement fleet compliance and assurance frameworks.
- Create risk-based audit and inspection programmes.
- Monitor regulatory changes and translate them into practical policies.
- Manage carrier compliance performance and corrective actions.
- Build compliance dashboards, scorecards and reporting tools.
- Partner with operational, legal and transport stakeholders to embed best practice.
About You
- Strong understanding of regulatory compliance, assurance frameworks and risk management.
- Proven experience designing and implementing frameworks from scratch.
- Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.
- Data-driven with a strong analytical mindset.
- Experience gained within a Big Four consulting firm (PwC, Deloitte, EY or KPMG) in risk, regulatory, operational assurance, audit or compliance advisory would also be highly relevant.
