A highly regarded US law firm is seeking an experienced Senior Compliance Manager to lead and oversee compliance operations across its London office.
This is a senior leadership opportunity for a compliance professional with strong regulatory expertise, exceptional stakeholder management skills, and experience leading high-performing teams within a legal or professional services environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as MLRO and MLCO, with responsibility for AML frameworks, SAR reporting, training, and regulatory filings
- Serve as COFA, working closely with finance colleagues on regulatory accounts oversight, audits, and controls
- Partner closely with the COLP to ensure compliance with professional conduct rules and firm authorisation obligations
- Act as a key liaison with regulators, auditors, banks, and external advisers
- Prepare senior-level compliance reporting and advise partners on regulatory risk issues

Experience & Background
- Significant senior-level experience in risk and compliance within a law firm environment
- Proven experience operating as MLRO, MLCO and COFA (or at equivalent senior level)
- Strong understanding of SRA regulations, Solicitors Accounts Rules, AML legislation, GDPR, and related frameworks
- Exposure to multi-jurisdictional or international legal environments is essential
- Experience managing teams and engaging confidently with partners and senior leadership
