MERJE are working with a well-known asset management client in their search for a senior Compliance specialist on a 12-month FTC basis.
This is a broad, generalist role within a high-performing, fast-paced compliance team, offering exposure across advisory, monitoring, and regulatory change. You’ll play a key role in supporting the business across a wide range of compliance activities while contributing to ongoing projects and regulatory initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day compliance advisory support to the business
- Carry out compliance monitoring and assist with the development and oversight of the compliance monitoring programme.
- Assist with regulatory developments tracking, summarising, and implementation where required
- Assist with policy drafting and maintenance where required
- Produce training materials and train employees where required
- Participate in internal/external audits and client due diligence meetings as required

Candidate Profile
- 6-10 years of generalist compliance experience within an asset or investment management firm
- Knowledge around MiFID II, COLL, CASS, AML, SMCR, MAR
- Understanding of UCITS funds
- Experience with Bloomberg AIM and/or StarCompliance (desirable)
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build relationships across stakeholders
