Senior Conference Producer – Diversified UK & Europe: Brighton Office, UK

Full-time, permanent role

Starting from £44,000, depending on experience

The Opportunity

We're looking for a Senior Conference Producer to take full ownership of the content and speaker programmes across our entire Accountex UK portfolio - Accountex London, the FD Show, Accountex Summit Manchester, and our year-round digital content including webinars, summits and Accounting Insight.

Working closely with the Portfolio Director, you'll have full ownership of the content and speaker budget, turning market and audience insight into CPD-accredited agendas that drive registration, attendance and engagement - spanning multi-theatre seminar programmes and senior speaker line-ups that make an event worth attending. You'll partner closely with Marketing, Sales and Operations to deliver a genuinely great experience for visitors, speakers and sponsors alike, and you'll be on-site at our events, seeing the direct impact of the programme you've built. This is a hybrid role based at our Brighton office.

About Diversified UK & Europe

We're a Brighton-based events company, part of the global Diversified Communications group - connecting, educating and strengthening business communities through market-leading trade shows, industry awards, digital products and publications. We organise 20 in-person trade events and 4 industry awards across a range of sectors, creating the kind of valuable business connections that help companies grow. With a team of around 100 people, we're large enough to offer variety and structure, but small enough that individuals make a real difference.

We’ve won Employer of the Year two years running (2025 and 2026) - not because we tick boxes, but because we genuinely invest in our people. Flexible working, a collaborative culture, and a leadership team that listens are things we’re proud of, not just things we say.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Researching and designing multi-theatre agendas and session formats - keynotes, panels, masterclasses, live demos and roundtables - tailored to distinct audience segments
  • Identifying, approaching and securing high-calibre speakers, session chairs and industry thought leaders, and managing the end-to-end speaker journey from outreach to on-the-day support
  • Building and maintaining relationships with professional bodies and associations (such as ICAEW, ACCA, AAT and CIMA), media partners and contributors
  • Working with Sales to shape content-led sponsorship opportunities, while protecting the editorial quality and credibility of the programme
  • Writing engaging, audience-focused copy for agendas, session descriptions, speaker biographies and promotional content, working closely with Marketing
  • Being the face of the content programme on-site - managing speakers, chairs and sessions across all theatres, and briefing AV teams to ensure every session runs to time
  • Collecting and analysing delegate and speaker feedback, and producing post-event content reports with clear insights and recommendations

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

What We’re Looking For

We’re not after a perfect CV - we’re after the right person. You’ll probably be:

  • A proven track record in conference or content production within B2B trade exhibitions, conferences or media, with real ownership of successful content and speaker programmes from concept through to delivery
  • Confident securing and managing senior speakers and a content budget, with the diplomacy to navigate gatekeepers and persuade time-poor experts to give up their time
  • A strong writer, with excellent copywriting skills and the editorial judgement to spot the topics, angles and speakers that will resonate with the audience
  • Highly organised, with the project management skills to run multiple programmes and deadlines across several events at once, and calm under pressure on-site
  • Self-motivated and adaptable, comfortable in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment where no two days are the same
  • Knowledge of the accountancy and finance sector, or experience producing professional or CPD-accredited content, is a strong plus but not essential - what matters most is your ability to build and own a content programme

What’s in It for You

We know you have options, so here’s why people enjoy working here:

  • 25 days holiday plus bank holidays - and we close over Christmas and New Year on top of that
  • An employer pension contribution of up to 10% - significantly above the statutory minimum and one of the most generous schemes you’ll find at a company of our size
  • A discretionary company bonus scheme - when the business does well, everyone shares in that success
  • A comprehensive wellbeing package including a cash health plan, EAP, life insurance, critical illness cover, bereavement support, and a contribution towards gym membership or a wellbeing app
  • Flexible start and finish times, so you can work around your life
  • Hybrid working - a genuine blend of Brighton office and home
  • Cycle to Work scheme and Electric Car Scheme
  • Ongoing professional development - in-house training, curated programmes, and dedicated self-directed learning time
  • A paid volunteering day to give back to a cause that matters to you
  • Genuinely family-friendly policies, including enhanced maternity and paternity leave
  • A colleague referral scheme - because the best people often know the best people
  • Regular social events - from book clubs and game nights to our annual Star Awards and Christmas party
  • A two-time Employer of the Year winner (EN Awards 2025 & 2026) - an accolade that reflects how we actually treat our people

Where Could This Lead?

This is a senior individual-contributor role — there's no direct-report scope attached today. Where it leads is in the growth of your remit: as our Accountex portfolio and digital content continue to expand, so does the scope, budget and profile of the programme you own. We're a growing company and we promote from within wherever we can, so as the team evolves there's real potential for this role to grow with it.

Interviews will take place w/c 3rd August 2026
