Skilled Conflicts Lawyer – Risk Management Department
Working with a leading international law firm, we are seeking an experienced conflicts lawyer to join their expanding risk management department.
About the Role
In this critical position, you will act as a trusted business adviser to partners and senior stakeholders, evaluating complex international business intake, assessing regulatory risks, and ensuring the firm can safely accept new client matters.
The firm seeks a qualified lawyer with significant experience in:
- Managing sophisticated professional indemnity and conflict issues
- Operating within a busy global legal practice
- Demonstrating excellent commercial acumen
- Delivering clear, definitive solutions under tight deadlines

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough legal and regulatory assessments of potential conflicts of interest and confidentiality matters across global jurisdictions
- Collaborate directly with partners and fee earners to investigate client relationships and resolve complex compliance issues
- Escalate and guide high-level discussions with senior management to find strategic resolutions for commercial and reputational risks
- Provide expert advice on enhancing global compliance policies and risk management procedures
- Offer mentorship, supervision, and technical guidance to onboarding and conflict clearance teams
