Senior Consultant – Accountancy & Finance
Location: Birmingham Salary: £27,937 – £43,708 (DOE) + commission

Hays Birmingham Accountancy & Finance hosts one of our most experienced recruitment teams of 14 consultants, operating from modern city-centre offices. With continued success and strong market demand, we’re expanding our Accountancy and Finance offering – backed by an established team of skilled consultants and leaders.

The Opportunity
We’re seeking an experienced consultant (or someone looking to transition into Finance recruitment) to lead our Birmingham Accountancy & Finance division. Your focus will be on recruiting for:
- Audit roles
- Trainee accountants
- Semi-senior vacancies in practices and private sector roles (e.g., manufacturing, FMCG, Tech, logistics, property)

Key Responsibilities
As a Recruitment Consultant within the Accountancy & Finance space, you’ll:
- Lead a 360° desk, supporting both candidates and clients with their hiring needs
- Provide expert specialist advice tailored to finance roles, including senior positions
- Drive sales‐oriented business development strategies
- Manage end-to-end recruitment processes
- Set an example through consistent fees, activity, and engagement
- Build and maintain strong market intelligence as industry trends evolve
