Role (s): Senior Consultant

Location: Belfast or Dublin, Hybrid

Remuneration & Benefits: Competitive

Role Purpose

As a Senior Consultant, you will lead business improvement and transformation projects across a range of sectors primarily within infrastructure space from water and energy to transport and beyond. Working closely with ambitious clients, you’ll design and lead change programmes that create real impact, unlock sustainable performance, and build long-lasting value. You’ll develop trusted relationships, and contribute to the continued growth and direction of OutForm, all within a collaborative, people-first environment.

Skills & Experience

Must-Haves (Core Competencies)

Consulting Core

  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Comfortable and confident in building client engagement and stakeholder relationships.
  • Ability to plan, structure, monitor, and report on projects.
  • A curious, proactive mindset with the ability to quickly understand client challenges and identify opportunities.
  • Ability to translate complex business challenges into practical, achievable solutions.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capability.
  • High standard of written, verbal, and presentation communication.
  • Evidence of supporting business development or client growth opportunities.

Leadership & Collaboration

  • Experience leading sub-workstreams or multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Ability to motivate others, manage dependencies, and support team delivery.
  • High emotional intelligence, empathy, and the ability to build trust quickly.
  • A proactive, commercially aware mindset with a focus on outcomes.
  • Exposure to utilities, manufacturing, engineering, or infrastructure environments.
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent.

Sector & Delivery Experience

  • Experience contributing to proposals, tenders, or client bid activity.
  • Knowledge of continuous improvement, Lean, or operational excellence practices.

Change & Transformation Skills

  • Understanding Organisational design or workforce planning experience.
  • Business process mapping and improvement.
  • Experience supporting cultural change initiatives.
  • Familiarity with benefits realisation, risk management, or governance structures.
