Role Description

The Senior Consultant role is a full-time, on-site position based in London. The Senior Consultant will lead and manage complex property and infrastructure projects, providing strategic advice and delivery support to clients across sectors such as transport, residential, education, and health.

  • Developing project plans
  • Managing budgets and timelines
  • Coordinating multidisciplinary teams
  • Ensuring compliance with client requirements and industry standards
  • Preparing and presenting reports, business cases, and recommendations to stakeholders
  • Identifying risks and implementing mitigation strategies
  • Contributing to business development activities
  • Supporting junior team members through mentoring
  • Helping enhance CPC’s service offerings and methodologies

Qualifications

  • Strong project management capabilities, including planning, scheduling, risk management, and stakeholder coordination.
  • Experience in property or infrastructure delivery, ideally within sectors such as rail, highways, residential, or higher education.
  • Ability to produce clear reports, business cases, and presentations for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, including team coordination, mentoring, and collaboration with multidisciplinary professionals.
  • Commercial awareness with experience in budget management, cost control, and supporting investment or funding cases.
  • Relevant professional qualification or degree in a discipline such as construction management, engineering, surveying, or business.
  • Membership of a professional body (e.g., RICS, APM, ICE, CIOB) or working towards chartership is advantageous.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with a focus on quality and attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with clients and partners.
  • Willingness to work on-site in London and occasionally travel to other CPC offices or client locations as required.
