Are you passionate about building production-ready AI solutions that solve complex business challenges? We're looking for a Senior Consultant – AI Engineer to join a growing AI & Data practice delivering cutting-edge AI, machine learning and Generative AI solutions for leading financial services organisations. This is an opportunity to work on high-profile transformation programmes, helping clients move from AI strategy and rapid prototyping through to enterprise-scale implementation.
What you'll be doing
As a Senior Consultant, you'll work alongside AI Engineers, Data Scientists, Architects and client stakeholders to deliver innovative AI products and solutions across the Banking sector. You'll be responsible for:
- Designing and delivering AI-powered products, AI Agents and intelligent automation solutions
- Building rapid prototypes and Proofs of Concept using the latest Generative AI technologies
- Developing production-ready AI applications using Python and modern cloud platforms
- Working with Large Language Models (LLMs), RAG architectures, embeddings and agent frameworks
- Collaborating with engineering, architecture and business teams to translate requirements into scalable AI solutions
- Supporting AI architecture, deployment patterns and technical design decisions
- Helping clients adopt AI responsibly, considering governance, security and regulatory requirements
- Mentoring junior consultants and contributing to a collaborative, high-performing team culture

What we're looking for
We're keen to speak with AI Engineers, Applied AI Engineers, Machine Learning Engineers and Senior Data Scientists who have experience delivering AI solutions within a consultancy or financial services environment.
You'll ideally have experience with:

- Python and SQL
- Large Language Models (LLMs) Prompt engineering, fine-tuning and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)
- LangChain, LangGraph or similar agent frameworks
- Vector databases such as Pinecone, Chroma or FAISS
- AI Agents and Generative AI applications
- Cloud platforms including AWS and/or Azure
- Modern ML pipelines and MLOps practices
- Agile delivery methodologies
Experience working within Banking, Financial Services or a technology consultancy would be highly advantageous.
