About the Role

We are looking for experienced ETRM professionals who can bridge the gap between business strategy and technology execution across commodity trading organizations.

In this client-facing consulting role, you will partner with trading, risk, operations, settlements, accounting, and technology teams to deliver business-critical ETRM solutions. You will act as a trusted advisor to clients, helping them optimize processes, improve operational efficiency, manage risk, and maximize the value of their ETRM investment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with traders, risk managers, operations, settlements, accounting, and technology teams to understand business requirements and deliver effective ETRM solution
  • Lead requirements gathering, business process analysis, solution design workshops, and functional specification
  • Translate complex business needs into scalable system solutions that align with industry best practices
  • Drive end-to-end delivery of ETRM implementations, enhancements, upgrades, and transformation initiatives
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to clients by providing guidance on trading, risk management, logistics, settlements, valuation, and accounting processes
  • Manage communication and alignment across business stakeholders, project teams, and leadership groups
  • Facilitate decision-making and resolve functional and process-related challenges throughout the project lifecycle
  • Lead project streams, mentor junior consultants, and contribute to the growth and development of the consulting practice
  • Support business development activities, solution demonstrations, proposal development, and client presentations as required

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
