About Metron Growth

At Metron Growth, we help companies get more out of their customer data. Our small team of subject matter experts partners with the marketing, product and data teams at digital natives (including Deliveroo, Pleo & Picnic), established enterprises and scaleups. Together we build the stacks, strategies and customer journeys that turn data into growth.

We are profitable, independent and have been fully remote since day one. We have delivered over 100 projects across more than 30 tools. We are a consultancy rather than an agency: we design a solution, prove it works and hand it over, rather than running the same campaigns month after month. You will lead high-impact projects for well-known brands in an environment that respects your autonomy.

Our clients come to us for deep technical expertise, and they tend to stick around:

  • Picnic: "No fluff or endless slide decks. Just clear, practical insights that you can actually act on."
  • Deliveroo: "Deep technical expertise... solving a major headache for the team."
  • Turo: "A valuable and impactful combination of deep expertise and excellent client service."
  • Calendly: "Cannot sing their praises enough."

The Role: Architecture Meets Execution

This role blends big-picture design with hands-on delivery. You are the bridge between complex business goals and modern tech stacks. Expect your time to split roughly 30% strategy and 70% implementation.

The 30% (Structuring & Solution Design)

  • Architect scalable marketing tech stacks and define clear data strategies.
  • You will translate complex business goals into actionable roadmaps, audit reports and clear tool recommendations.
  • Advise clients on where AI genuinely delivers against their use cases (and where it does not).

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

The 70% (Implementation & Delivery Leadership)

  • Own project delivery from end to end.
  • Translate requirements into PRDs and Jira tickets, configure tools and lead integrations with client teams of all sizes.
  • Train those teams to become confident practitioners.
  • Manage scope and drive stakeholder check-ins.
  • Your consulting polish helps our engineers and subject matter experts shine in front of clients.

The Tech Stack

We don't expect anyone to master every tool on the market. We look for deep, hands-on implementation experience in at least two of the following categories. Bring the right foundation and we will teach you the rest:

  • Customer Data Platforms (CDPs): e.g. Segment, Rudderstack and Hightouch
  • Product Analytics: e.g. Mixpanel, Amplitude and Fullstory
  • Customer Engagement: e.g. Braze, Iterable and Customer.io
  • Mobile Measurement Partners (MMPs): e.g. AppsFlyer, Adjust and Branch
  • Data Warehouse: e.g. dbt, Snowflake, BigQuery

What You Bring to the Table

  • Proven MarTech Experience: Substantial background (typically 4-10 years) working with data and marketing technology, ideally with a focus on growth and complex deployments. Some consulting or client-facing experience is a strong plus.
  • Technical Translator: You can configure event-driven pipelines. You are as comfortable talking APIs with an engineer as you are talking attribution with a Head of Growth. You don't need to write Python or SQL. You do need to write PRDs and translate technical concepts into plain English.
  • Project Leadership: Highly organised and decisive. You manage complex project lifecycles, drive cross-functional alignment and deliver on time and in scope.
  • Executive Storytelling: You distil dense datasets and technical hurdles into clear narratives that drive decision-making. You carry the presence to build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders.
