About the Role
At EY’s Procurement Transformation consulting team, we work with some of the world’s top organisations to help them build high-performing procurement capabilities. We are looking for experienced procurement professionals to join our growing team and support our clients as they navigate supply chain volatility, risk, and uncertainty.

Here’s what you’ll be doing:
- Delivering high-value, complex strategic sourcing projects to help clients identify and onboard suppliers for critical projects.
- Engaging with business stakeholders and suppliers to develop category strategies that align with organisational needs and industry best practices.
- Using analytics tools to assess third-party spend, uncover cost-saving opportunities, and implement improvements in spend management.
- Supporting clients with supplier performance issues, helping them apply leading-edge contract and supplier management solutions.
- Assessing and improving the procurement operating model by identifying key enhancements.
- Providing formal and informal procurement training to ensure client teams have the skills to drive optimal procurement outcomes.
- Implementing leading procurement technologies, including Robotic Process Automation (RPA), Artificial Intelligence (AI), and Advanced Data Analytics.
You will work within cross-functional Consulting, People, and Technology teams. The work you deliver will build your leadership capabilities alongside your technical commercial and procurement expertise.
You’ll collaborate closely with senior client stakeholders and gain exposure to cutting-edge procurement technologies.
Key Responsibilities
As a Senior Consultant, your role spans delivering for our clients and contributing to internal initiatives.
Focus on our clients
- Lead a workstream within a project, handling analysis, client engagement, and ensuring deliverables meet expectations.
- Act as a problem-solver by leveraging analytical and technical skills to deliver high-quality solutions for clients.
- Build strong relationships with clients and become their trusted advisor, connecting with procurement and business stakeholders at all levels.
- Collaborate with colleagues across EY’s global network to achieve the best outcomes for our clients.

Develop our people and business
- Help develop and deliver internal procurement training programs to upskill EY’s team.
- Contribute to shaping procurement best practices and methodologies through internal research and analysis.
- Support the creation and promotion of proposals showcasing leading procurement practices.
Experience and Requirements
We seek candidates who bring practical experience from either a consulting or industry background, where they’ve honed their procurement expertise. While consulting experience isn’t mandatory, you should have a strong track record in driving business change within your organisation.
Our ideal candidate will have:
- Substantial experience in procurement (quantifiable benefits to past roles).
- Strong communication skills – ability to write professional pieces and present insights effectively.
- Experience in fast-paced environments – thriving under pressure and meeting deadlines.
- Exceptional analytical abilities – including extracting insights from diverse data sources.
- Proven collaboration skills – expertise in working with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
- Work experience with diverse teams – prior exposure to multicultural teams a plus.

Qualifications
Many of our Senior Consultants hold or are working toward professional procurement qualifications, such as:
- Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (CIPS)
- International Association of Commercial & Contract Management (IACCM)
While formal qualifications are advantageous, we’re open to candidates who possess relevant skills and experience that would add value to our team.
