Senior Consultant – Technology & Cyber Assurance
About the Role
As technology increasingly shapes society, our work gains heightened attention and scrutiny. This role allows you to engage with diverse teams, continuously evolving to understand and provide assurance over cutting-edge technology and cyber security environments.
Our Technology & Cyber Assurance team is expanding as we help clients address emerging risks, assess cyber risk exposures, and capitalise on opportunities arising from technological and operational change.
At the core of governance and competitive advantage lies risk management and the establishment of effective controls. Our experienced team delivers tailored solutions across financial services, corporate, and public sectors, designing, implementing, and assuring controls for business processes, technology, and cyber security.
Our key work areas include:
- Technology & Cyber internal audit
- Cyber maturity and compliance assurance
- Technology & Cyber risk management
- Operational resilience
- Controls advisory and assurance
- Automation risk
- Third-party risk management and assurance
Responsibilities
- Deliver Technology & Cyber-related engagements, collaborating seamlessly with colleagues, clients, and other service lines.
- Support the full engagement lifecycle, from initial take-on to conclusion.
- Assist junior team members (e.g., graduates) through training, mentoring, and coaching.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships while acting as the primary contact on engagements.
- Develop expertise across diverse sectors and share insights with the wider team.
- Partner with senior colleagues to expand the Technology & Cyber Assurance practice through business development, practice management, and thought leadership.
- Foster a diverse and inclusive culture while upholding the firm’s commitment to nurturing such an environment.

Requirements & Qualifications
Professional Experience
You will need a blend of technical, commercial, and personal strengths to excel in this role. Specifically, we seek a Technology & Cyber risk, strategy, or transformation professional who has:
- Experience delivering Technology & Cyber assurance engagements in varied domains;
- Working knowledge of internal audit processes, controls, and team interactions;
- Ability to assess and review technology & cyber risks and control frameworks;
- Experience engaging senior client stakeholders and deriving solutions;
- Hands-on involvement in engagements, including:
- Fieldwork leadership;
- Scoping, financial planning, and reporting;
- Consultancy or industry experience focused on security, technology, or risk management (or a related field);
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills when working across internal and external stakeholders;
- Proactive mindset with demonstrated leadership, responsibility-driving abilities, and excellent communication (oral/written).
- Passion for self-improvement, e-metement team contributions.
Academics & Professional Qualifications
- Minimum of a 2.1 degree or equivalent.
- Relevant certifications (ISO27001, CISSP, CISA) are advantageous but not mandatory—practical experience is equally valued—;
- Demonstrated expertise in a broad range of Technology & Cyber domains, including one or more of the following:
- Technology & Cyber assurance / internal audit
- Technology & Cyber strategy, transformation, and change initiatives
- Technology & Cyber target operating models
- Technology & Cyber governance, risk management, assessment, and compliance
- Third-party cyber risk management and assessment
- Security architecture, network infrastructure (e.g., firewall rule reviews, logging, network segregation)
- Security testing processes and controls (e.g., penetration testing, vulnerability management, red team operations)
- Security standards/frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, IEC 62443, NIST 800-82, NCSC/CPNI SICS Framework)
