About Avencera
Avencera is a business built to lead in the AI era. We work where the stakes are highest and the problems most complex, bringing the imagination, cut-through, execution smarts, and adaptive collaboration required to help leaders navigate change in an uncertain world. We’re often described as a consulting business, but that only tells part of the story. We don’t diagnose and disappear, and we don’t run the old playbooks. We shape the team and approach to the problem at hand and stay close to the work until it delivers.
That way of working has led to unusually strong, trusting, long-term relationships across central Government, education, healthcare, and enterprise.
As the work grows, so does the team. We’re looking for people with the imagination to open problems up and see possibilities others miss, the judgement to cut through AI noise, and the execution smarts to make things happen. We value ambition — for yourself, for your clients, and for the impact you want to have — without ego. People who succeed at Avencera are intellectually sharp and able to think deeply, operate confidently in complex, real-world environments, and do the hard, often unglamorous work that meaningful change requires.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
