Job Description

Step Into Consulting with the World’s Leading Negotiation Experts: The Gap Partnership; Based in the UK (with fluent German & English language proficiency)

Are you already a skilled negotiator—used to navigating complex deals, influencing key stakeholders, and delivering commercial results? Ready to channel those skills into a new, rewarding direction where you can advise, train, and inspire others?

Join The Gap Partnership, the world’s leading negotiation consultancy, and turn your negotiation expertise into a powerful consulting career.

About Us

We are a global negotiation consultancy specializing in creating transformative, practical, and commercially effective negotiation strategies. We partner with over 600 organisations across 50+ countries—supporting Fortune 500 companies, market leaders, and ambitious teams looking to sharpen their edge at the negotiation table.

Our consultants come from the real world—people with hands-on commercial experience who now use their skills to deliver impact through insight, coaching, and training.

The Role: Senior Consultant

This is your opportunity to leverage your negotiation background in a high-impact role.

As a Senior Consultant, you’ll:

  • Deliver powerful, behavior-based negotiation workshops to senior professionals and C-suite leaders (very frequent travel and time away from home is part of the experience).
  • Coach and mentor clients post-workshop, guiding them through real-life negotiations.
  • Build strong client relationships, identifying new opportunities, business development, and helping drive commercial growth.
  • It’s not uncommon for our consultants to hear that their sessions "changed the course of someone’s career" or "transformed the way a team thinks."

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
