About the Role
This position is based within Deloitte’s Workday Financial Management Practice, part of Technology & Transformation, focusing on application expertise to support strategic projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage in advisory and delivery projects, including transformation strategies and full Workday implementation lifecycles.
- Collaborate with clients to develop solution architectures and end-to-end processes aligned with Workday capabilities.
- Identify and mitigate key process and integration challenges while proposing scalable solutions.

Essential Requirements
- Strong ERP, EPM, and cloud computing experience, including storage, data platforms, and infrastructure.
- 2+ years of direct finance transformation work with Workday, demonstrating hands-on delivery expertise.
- Ability to design and implement complex system workflows, balancing functional and non-functional requirements.
- Profound understanding of Workday transactional data flows, migration, and integration architectures.
- Proven financial domain knowledge, preferably certified in Workday Finance, FDM, or Engagement Management.
- Outstanding analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience in project scoping, team coordination, and enterprise-level communication.
- Familiarity with risk assessment frameworks for ERP delivery projects.
- Commitment to inclusive teamwork, with a focus on talent development and collaboration.
Desirable Attributes
- Salesforce Administration, Workday HCM/Financials Certifications, or cloud automation expertise.
- Aptitude for translating technical concepts for non-technical audiences and vice versa.
- Emotional intelligence and conflict resolution skills in cross-functional team settings.
- Global project management confidence, ideally in multi-localised or High-EE environments.
- Subject-matter expertise in finance optimisation, procurement, payroll, or automation.
- A track record of self-driving initiatives with clear leadership and accountability.
