AgileSource are looking for an experienced Principal Consultant/Senior Consulting Manager to join a growing team and lead high-impact engagements with senior client stakeholders.

This is an opportunity to work directly with C-suite technology leaders, influence strategic decisions and play a key role in shaping both our clients' futures and the continued growth of a boutique IT consultancy.

The Role

As a Principal Consultant, you will lead client engagements from discovery through to delivery, helping organisations tackle complex technology and operational challenges. You will work closely with CIOs, IT Directors and senior leadership teams to assess current capabilities, define future-state operating models and deliver transformational change.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading client engagements and managing stakeholder relationships
  • Assessing IT and Digital operating environments
  • Designing and implementing IT operating models
  • Delivering organisation and process design initiatives
  • Supporting large-scale digital and IT transformation programmes
  • Developing business cases and obtaining stakeholder buy-in
  • Producing high-quality reports, presentations and recommendations
  • Facilitating workshops with senior leaders and client teams
  • Helping develop the consulting propositions and market presence

Essential Experience

  • 10+ years' experience within consulting, IT transformation or a related field
  • Strong client-facing consulting experience
  • Experience delivering one or more of the following:
    • IT & Digital Operating Models
    • Service Management Transformation
    • Service Integration & SIAM
    • Organisation Design
    • Process Design
    • IT Operating Model Development
  • Experience leading digital or IT transformation initiatives
  • Senior stakeholder engagement skills, including Director and C-suite audiences
  • Strong understanding of modern Service Management practices
  • Experience producing executive-level presentations and consultancy deliverables
