Role/Team overview

As a Senior Content Designer in our digital customer experience team, you’ll help deliver world-class content across sky.com, the My Sky app, agent macros, and transactional communications. You’ll collaborate within Agile teams, drive content solutions, and be responsible for outcomes that meet business goals and customer needs.

Sitting within the Customer Experience Centre of Excellence, you’ll create world-class customer journeys and designs to support our product roadmaps for the UK & Ireland. From joining Sky to engaging with our latest services, we’re driven by one purpose: to create better experiences for our customers.

What You’ll Do

  • Deliver high-quality, intuitive content experiences across web and native platforms, aligned with business and customer needs.
  • Champion the customer voice, ensuring content design reflects real needs and drives prioritisation.
  • Consistently use customer insights and translate them into actionable content improvements.
  • Work cross-functionally to shape journeys, guide stakeholders, and evolve content practices.
  • Champion AI and utilise CMS tools to create, test, and optimise content. Experiment with LLMs, share learnings, and support wider adoption.
  • Align content with CX KPIs, SEO, WCAG guidelines and compliance, delivering measurable improvements to customer experience.

What You’ll Bring

Essential criteria:

  • Proven experience delivering high-impact, user-centred content across large-scale digital products working in content design teams across multiple initiatives.
  • Expertise in UX writing, plain language, inclusive content, and editorial standards.
  • Advanced skills in Figma, Confluence, CMS platforms, structured content, and reusable components.
  • Strong previous experience using research methods and online platforms e.g., Usertesting to conduct usability testing to understand customer needs, reduce friction and improve ease of use.
  • Proficient in data analytics tools such as Adobe Analytics, with the ability to track success metrics, interpret user behaviour, and validate journeys.
  • Clear, confident storytelling with adaptability and a growth mindset in fast-paced environments.

How You’ll Work

We've adopted a hybrid working approach to give more flexibility on where and how we work. The hybrid working expectations for this role are 3 days in the office per week.

Your office base

London (Osterley)

Our Osterley Campus is a 10-minute walk from Syon Lane train station. Or you can hop on one of our free shuttle buses that run to and from Osterley, Gunnersbury, Ealing Broadway and South Ealing tube stations. There are also plenty of bike shelters and showers.

On campus, you’ll find 13 subsidised restaurants, cafes, and a Waitrose. You can keep in shape at our subsidised gym, catch the latest shows and movies at our cinema, get your car washed, and even get pampered at our beauty salon.
