United Media focuses on building large-scale industry media and conference products in sectors such as insurance, HR, private equity, retail, and more. As of today, we have organicially launched 8 media companies and acquired one:

  • Retail Insights

Responsibilities

As our Senior Content Editor, your key responsibility will be to build the greatest physical magazine. This involves:

  • Thoroughly researching industry-related topics and ideas for stories and articles.
  • Conducting interviews with key industry figures.
  • Content creation: Copywriting, writing, editing, and proofreading articles.
  • Constructing the magazines by selecting photos, coordinating design, and developing artwork (in collaboration with our Graphic Designer).

Requirements

We seek a candidate with:

Academic and Professional Background:

  • A bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) with outstanding results in fields such as journalism, communications, marketing, English, or a related discipline.
  • +5 years of experience in a high-performing role, preferably within magazine or media companies.
  • Valid UK work permit.

Essential Skills & Attributes:

  • Exceptional writing, editing, and creative abilities.
  • Unwavering attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and structure work effectively.

Flexible

Work Arrangement

Working days are Monday to Friday (with no remote work option available). Locations are based at our London headquarters (near Victoria Station).
