About Skyscanner

Everyone loves travelling, but planning is not without its challenges ✈️. That's why we've spent 20 years building tools that turn travel-planning chaos into a breeze. Today, around 160 million travellers count on us every month to skip the whole “47 browser tabs open” phase and find flights, cars, and hotels quickly and easily 💻.

Joining Skyscanner means becoming part of a global brand that's striving to become the planet's go-to travel hack accessible for all 🌍.

Our vision? To be the world's number one travel ally. (Ambitious? 💪 Yes, but, hey, that's what got us here).

Now, we’re on the lookout for a Senior Content Manager, Editorial (12-Month FTC) to help us bring that vision to even more travellers.

About the role

(Hybrid)

Content might start with words, but this role is about so much more than writing. You'll own editorial strategy and day-to-day content operations across our APAC markets, balancing creativity with commercial impact, and local relevance with global consistency. Working across SEO, PR, Lifecycle, Brand and Product, you'll help create content that travellers love and search engines do too. You'll also champion smarter AI-powered workflows, manage skilled freelancers, and keep a complex international content operation running as smoothly as a perfectly planned itinerary.

What you’ll be doing

  • Owning APAC Editorial Strategy: You will lead the planning and production of content for the APAC region. This includes markets like Australia, Japan, Korea, India, Taiwan, and Hong Kong. You must ensure that every piece delivers value for travelers and the business.
  • Creating Content That Performs: You will commission, optimise, and refresh content. You will use your editorial judgment and SEO skills. You will also use performance insights. This approach will keep our content relevant, competitive, and easy to find.
  • Managing World-Class Freelancers: You will find and brief freelance writers and editors. You will build solid relationships with them. Your goal is to help them create high-quality content and keep projects on schedule.
  • Leading Content Operations: You will be a Contentful expert. Your tasks will include publishing content and supporting colleagues. You will also ensure that editorial workflows run smoothly during launches, migrations, and bustling travel periods.
  • Using Data to Drive Decisions: You'll monitor content performance, identify new opportunities, and use analytics to shape future commissioning and optimisation priorities.
  • Championing AI-Native Workflows: You'll experiment with AI tools to improve planning, briefing and production, while applying robust editorial judgement to ensure quality, accuracy and local relevance never take a holiday.
  • Collaborating Across Skyscanner: You'll work closely with SEO, PR, Lifecycle, Brand and Product teams to deliver campaigns and content that support growth, engage travellers and bring brilliant ideas to life.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
