Senior Content Marketing Manager

---
**🔥 Mission and Growth**
TryHackMe is a rapidly growing **highest-growth cybersecurity training platform**, reaching **8+ million community members**. We prioritise **gamified security exercises and challenges**, giving our users step-by-step, immersive practice. We value curiosity, creation, and community, and want to build this with you.

**The Role**
We’re seeking a **Senior Content Marketing Manager** with a **writer-first mindset** to shape **TryHackMe’s voice**—both with our **enterprise customer (B2B) audience**—security leaders like CISOs and SOC teams—**and our broader (B2C) community**.

As the only writer FIRST on the team, you’ll lead content that **earns credibility, ranks high, gets linked, and moves the sales pipeline**. You’ll **collaborate with our team of technical SMEs** (Content Engineering) and C-level executives to **translate complex security concepts** into **impactful, high-value thought leadership**. Our main focus is **B2B content**: blogs, articles, LinkedIn, downloadables, sales collateral, SEM content—but you’ll also ensure our story shines on **B2C channels**.

You’ll expand beyond traditional writing to build **partnerships, cross-brand campaigns, activations, and gifting programs**. Social fragility metrics (e.g., go-to-market campaigns that turn via LinkedIn **or** (Physical) deals) increasingly underpin our growth strategy. We’re pooling campaigns: Turn Share To Impacts.

### **Key Responsibilities**

#### **🚀 B2B Content & Thought Leadership**
- Own the entire B2B content pipeline end-to-end: planning, drafting, designing, and publishing
  - Write **LinkedIn articles, blogs, eBooks** that attract, convert, and support security decision-makers
  - Be a linchpin for **SEO and B2B growth organically**, coordinating with our SEO and Growth teams
- Align with **Content Engineering** and **senior leadership** to develop **authoritative, data-backed content**
  - Spearhead a structured editorial process: **briefs → SME interviews → first drafts → rigorous technical review (every piece goes through Siberian brigade)**
  - Focus less on “quick-wave” outputs and more on **long-term trust**—what keeps a Cyber workforce asset—and crack best stewards of what matters
- Build and scale **content workflows** for repeatability and efficiency
  - Define recurring templates for briefs, review milestones, and content repurposing
- Maintain and elevate internal standards of quality:
  - **All content must be worth a security practitioner’s attention**—**decision fatigue** is a vulnerability. Just because we can generate it doesn’t mean we should.
  - Actively discourage watered-down AI cherry-picks for length without purpose.

#### **💡 Brand Activations & Campaigns**
- Lead execution of all **ABX and high-strategy gifting programs**, ensuring they include a tactical integration with insight share moments
- Be the **keynote on program development** related to events, partnerships, customer moments
  - Champion high-impact **sales-led events like CISO roundtables and thought English leadership summits**
  - Advise on the **messaging framework and vision** for your customer’s hardware and trial adoption journey
- Explorer partnerships to the core of the objectives:
  - How do we **say yes to partnerships with clean craft**?
  - Collaborate with the **Events and Sales** teams to curate activations.
- **Represent the brand’s voice:** All physical (even gifting, retails special offers) and digital ‘brand moments’ must sit with TryHackMe principles—**exists in the world**.

#### **⚙️ B2C Content Quality & Brand Consistency**
- **Own the quality bar for B2C** content creation, creating and upholding brand voice and tone
- **Tone/Vibe Guide Snippets:** a clear yes-no rule on ‘honest/straightforward/proud vs. jargon chocked’. Statement of conciseness.
  - Leverage SME resources effectively while curating content **specifically for each demo/learning audience level**—**calculate risk/benefits per piece and audience**
- Advise content producers **and partners** on brand alignment
- Provide direction over B2C growth campaigns—**lean better on simple yet impactful hooks**

### **🔍 Essential Requirements**
- **5+ years in content marketing** (we **will review your portfolio’s depth when you apply**), including **trusted B2B storytelling**
- **At least** 3 years direct B2B SaaS/technical writing experience — We **need B2B credibility** and confidence **. Specifically look for techniques to illustrate complex ideas, and client examples where your writing competition**.
- Eligible to bring reliability review across a diverse team.
- **Must be strong writers, editors** capable of translating:
  - Security terminology into **readable, compelling content for non-technical executives** (CISOs, Heads of Security).
  - Ability to **get an SME’s nuance into their words** while respecting deadlines.
- Prioritise collaborative rituals in your **review workflow**. No solo coding? Teamware.
- Comfortable in one-to-one or one-to-many **contributor adjudication** to meet company workflows.
- Capable of **iterating multiple pixel-honed campaigns** with multi-team deathmatch alignment
- High-leverage asset-oriented tool compensation: AI is our co-author, not replacement.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

  • Lead a rigorous editorial workflow: briefs, interviews, drafts, technical reviews, and final publication.
  • Build efficient content workflows, including templates for briefs and briefs for review cycles, helping repurpose work across LinkedIn, blog, YouTube, and email.

  • Review and provide guidance to our B2C content producers and agencies to ensure those assets align with TryHackMe.

  • Demonstrated ability to run editorial processes while balancing feedback with technical SME teams.
