About gee
gee is a premium hair extension brand trusted by iconic women including Anne Hathaway, Rebel Wilson, and Eva Longoria. We've received multiple industry awards, including a Marie Claire Hair Award.
Our mission is to help women feel like the most confident version of themselves. Every product, campaign, and piece of content is created with that purpose in mind.
We're a founder-led brand entering an exciting period of growth, and we're looking for an exceptional Senior Content Lead to join our team.
The Role
We're looking for a senior content lead to oversee the day-to-day running of our content department.
Working closely with the Founder, you'll help bring our creative vision to life by overseeing content production from planning through to final delivery. You'll contribute ideas, refine creative concepts, and ensure every campaign, shoot, and piece of content is executed to the highest possible standard.
This isn't a role centered around posting on social media every day. Instead, you'll lead content production, direct shoots, maintain exceptional creative standards, and ensure projects run seamlessly.
You'll become the Founder's trusted second pair of eyes, confidently making creative decisions, maintaining gee's premium aesthetic, and ensuring the content team consistently delivers exceptional work.
Key Responsibilities
- Working alongside the Founder, you'll oversee the execution of our content strategy and ensure every project is delivered to the highest creative standard.
- Leading the planning and execution of all content shoots.
- Reviewing and approving shoot plans, shot lists, and content calendars.
- Contributing creative ideas that strengthen campaigns and content.
- Directing photographers, videographers, models, and the wider team on shoot days.
- Overseeing the day-to-day content team, ensuring projects stay organized, deadlines are met, and standards remain high.
- Reviewing and approving content across social media, paid advertising, email, and the website.
- Overseeing our UGC programme, including creator selection, outreach direction, content reviews, and quality control.
- Refining video edits where required to achieve a premium finish.
- Implementing AI tools and improving workflows to increase efficiency across the content department.
- Keeping campaigns organized, on schedule, and moving forward.
- Raising the standard of every piece of content before it goes live.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
