Senior Contracts Manager
📍 London (2 days per week)
💰 £70,000–£80,000 + Benefits
We're working with a leading technology business looking to appoint an experienced Senior Contracts Manager to join its growing commercial legal team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys leading complex commercial negotiations, partnering with senior stakeholders and driving best practice across the contract lifecycle in a fast-paced technology environment.
The Role
You'll be the lead commercial contracts expert, supporting Sales, Procurement, Operations, and senior leadership on high-value customer and supplier agreements. Alongside managing complex negotiations, you'll play a key role in improving contracting processes, mentoring junior team members, and helping the business balance commercial objectives with legal risk.

- Lead negotiations on complex, high-value customer and supplier contracts.
- Draft, review, and negotiate a broad range of technology agreements, including SaaS, software licensing, managed services, professional services, reseller, and supplier agreements.
- Provide commercially focused legal advice to internal stakeholders on contractual risk and business decisions.
- Act as the legal lead for key business areas, building strong relationships with senior stakeholders.
- Support strategic projects and major commercial deals.
- Manage the full contract lifecycle using Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) systems.
- Advise on UK GDPR, data protection, and regulatory requirements.
- Resolve complex contractual issues and manage external legal counsel where required.
- Drive continuous improvements to contract templates, processes, and governance.
- Produce reporting on contract performance, legal risk, and workload.
- Mentor junior members of the contracts team and promote best practice across the business.

About You
- A law degree, GDL, LPC, or equivalent legal qualification.
- 7+ years' experience in commercial contracts or contract management within technology, IT services, or systems integration.
- Strong experience negotiating complex commercial agreements independently.
- Experience with SaaS, software licensing, cloud, managed services, and other technology contracts.
- Exposure to international or cross-border contracting.
- A solid understanding of English contract law, UK GDPR, and data protection.
- Experience partnering with Sales, Procurement, Compliance, and senior leadership teams.
- Experience using Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) systems.
