Senior Contract Manager
Location: Macclesfield - Agile - offering a mix of office and home working
Salary: £53,000 per annum
We’re a housing provider in Macclesfield with over 5,000 properties across East Cheshire and the surrounding areas. We’re ambitious with plans to build more homes, regenerate local areas and invest in our properties.
About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Contract Manager to join our team. You will lead on the contract administration of complex investment involving multiple component replacements. This role is responsible for ensuring that contracts meet legal, regulatory, and quality standards while delivering value for money and high levels of tenant satisfaction. You will also be responsible for leading a team of Contract Managers and Customer Liaison Officers on a day-to-day basis to ensure the effective management, delivery, compliance, and performance of social housing asset investment programmes such as kitchens, bathrooms, windows, and roofing.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead contract administration for complex investment projects.
- Ensure contracts meet legal, regulatory, and quality standards.
- Deliver value for money and high levels of tenant satisfaction.
- Lead and motivate a team of Contract Managers and Customer Liaison Officers.
- Oversee effective management, delivery, compliance, and performance of social housing asset investment programmes.
Requirements
- Proven experience of managing contractors and consultants, gained within a construction, maintenance, or social housing environment.
- Proven experience in leading, developing, and motivating a team.
- A relevant professional qualification (e.g., CIH Level 4+, RICS, or equivalent) or substantial experience in a construction-based discipline is essential.
