Senior Contracts Manager
Help Shape Complex, Business-Critical Customer Relationships
At DXC Technology, we deliver mission-critical technology services to some of the UK’s most important organisations.
About the Role
We’re looking for an experienced Senior Contracts Manager to join our commercial team on a 2-year fixed-term contract. This role has been created to support a significant long-term customer programme and offers the opportunity to work on complex, high-value contracts within a mature and highly regarded commercial team.
This is a highly visible, fully remote role, requiring skilled leadership to support complex customer engagements across IT services, infrastructure, cloud, applications, and transformation programmes.
You’ll work alongside senior commercial leaders, customer success teams, project managers, and technical specialists to ensure contractual commitments are understood, managed, and delivered successfully.
We’re passionate about building diverse, inclusive teams and actively encourage applications from women, underrepresented groups, and neurodivergent candidates. We are committed to creating an accessible recruitment process and offering reasonable adjustments throughout the hiring journey.
Security Requirement: Due to operational constraints, we can only consider sole British nationals.
The Opportunity
This role sits at the heart of contract governance, commercial management, and customer engagement, where expert judgment drives strategic success.
You’ll be responsible for:
- Interpreting and managing complex contractual obligations
- Supporting commercial negotiations and contract change activities
- Navigating contractual risks and opportunities
- Acting as a trusted advisor to delivery teams and business leaders, aligning commercial decisions with customer outcomes and DXC’s long-term objectives.
Your work will focus on solving complex commercial challenges, influencing stakeholders, and delivering clarity in negotiations where contractual interpretation is critical.

- IT services, systems integration, application services, consulting, and infrastructure engagements.
- Interpret contract terms, identify obligations, and advise business stakeholders on practical compliance.
- Oversee contractual change processes, ensuring changes are commercially sound and aligned with customer agreements.
- Support contract governance activities, project reviews, and customer engagements that require contractual expertise.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
