    • Data Services (underpinning operational risk management)

Help shape the future of clean energy and drive efficiency in our sector—join us as the energy behind the change.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and nurture strong relationships with Gas System Management Services providers to ensure optimal service delivery.
  • Lead and oversee standard Gas System Management and Data Services Contracts within commercial oversight.
  • Develop and negotiate Gas System Management Services Contracts (collaborating with the Commercial Contracts Manager as required).

  • Lead the procurement and risk mitigation for ‘Balancing Services’ contracts (up to £28m annual spend).
  • Represent National Gas interests within industry governance committees.
  • Partner with the Incentive Performance and Development team to ensure timely, accurate financial regulatory reporting and business planning forecasts.
  • Drive continuous service improvement through strategic development of contract strategies.
  • Ensure accurate monthly invoicing (generally up to £3m per month) for Gas System Management Contract Services.
  • Identify and introduce new service opportunities to address evolving Energy Delivery requirements.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
