Senior Controls Engineer
Senior Control Systems Engineer Daresbury, Cheshire
We are now seeking a Senior Control Systems Engineer to join our growing engineering team at out state of the art facility in Daresbury, Cheshire. This is a technically focused role, responsible for leading the design, development and commissioning of advanced control and automation systems across a wide range of industries
. Key Responsibilitie s:Lead and contribute to all stages of the project lifecycle, ensuring high‑quality technical deliver y.Provide technical leadership, mentoring junior engineers and sharing best practice s.Build strong client relationships through effective technical communication, presentations and documentatio n.Take ownership of technical tasks and projects, delivering to budget, quality, safety and programme expectation s.Produce and review specifications, design documents and engineering report s.Develop, configure and implement control system application software across multiple platform s.Conduct testing and commissioning activities in live operational environment s.Maintain consistently high engineering standards throughout the design and delivery proces s.Lead or work within multi‑disciplinary teams, adapting to a variety of environment s.Ensure compliance with the company’s Integrated Management Syste m.Contribute to continuous improvement and support the development of the wider engineering communit

Skills, Experience & Qualificatio ns:Degree‑qualified in control, automation or electrical engineering (or equivalent proven experienc e).Member of a relevant engineering or professional body (e.g., MIET); Chartered status desirab le.Minimum 6 years’ experience within the control and automation indust ry.Proven track record delivering control solutions within sectors such as Food, Utilities, FMCG, Process or Materials Handli ng.Strong technical leadership and project engineering experien ce.Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skil ls.Highly motivated, ambitious and capable of operating at a senior technical lev
