What You’ll Do
As a Senior Account Coordinator, you will take an active role in driving day-to-day client work, owning timelines, coordinating cross-functional teams, and ensuring execution remains organized, proactive, and aligned.
You operate at the intersection of business leadership and operational excellence, gaining deeper exposure to sponsorship strategy, campaign development, financial tracking, and partnership management. You are client-facing and trusted to represent the team with clarity and professionalism.
This role is designed to build autonomy, judgment, and strategic awareness, preparing you to step into Account Manager or future delivery leadership roles.
This role supports a leading technology client, with a focus on driving strategic impact across their sponsorship portfolio in Formula 1 and football (soccer), partnering closely with rights holders, teams, and leagues to activate culturally relevant, business-driving work.
Responsibilities
Client & Account Support
- Serve as a consistent point of contact for day-to-day client communications, ensuring responsiveness and clarity.
- Lead status calls and internal check-ins, preparing agendas, tracking action items, and ensuring accountability.
- Build and maintain client trackers, toolkits, and summaries that create transparency and efficiency.
- Support the development of client presentations and materials, ensuring strategic alignment and high-quality execution.
- Contribute research, category analysis, and competitive insights to inform client recommendations.

Project & Operational Management
- Develop and maintain project timelines across workstreams, proactively identifying risks and proposing solutions.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams across creative, strategy, production, finance, and external partners.
- Support scope documentation and staffing coordination in partnership with senior team members.
- Monitor deliverables and workflows to ensure integrated campaign execution across channels.
- Assist in the planning and coordination of partnership activations and key milestones.
Financial & Business Acumen
- Track budgets, reconcile expenses, and support financial documentation to maintain account health.
- Provide ongoing updates to account leadership regarding project status and financial tracking.
- Develop an understanding of how scopes are built, how accounts grow, and how profitability is managed.
- Identify opportunities for efficiencies and improvements in workflow or resource allocation.
Team & Leadership Development
- Mentor Account Coordinators, helping guide workflow organization and professional development.
- Reinforce strong process discipline and integrated ways of working across teams.
- Demonstrate increasing ownership, accountability, and independent problem-solving.
- Contribute ideas that strengthen partnerships and elevate client impact.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Strong project coordination skills with increasing ability to manage multiple workstreams independently.
- Confident written and verbal communicator, comfortable leading portions of client discussions.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to see both tactical execution and broader account context.
- Proactive problem-solver who anticipates needs and takes initiative.
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills in fast-paced environments.
- Developing financial literacy related to scopes, budgets, and agency operations.
- Curious, culturally aware, and invested in understanding how brands grow through partnerships and creative work.

Minimum Qualifications
- 2–4 years of experience in an agency, sponsorship, sports marketing, or related client-service environment.
- Experience supporting day-to-day partnership or campaign execution.
- Exposure to client communication and cross-functional coordination.
- Proficiency in Google Suite (Sheets and Slides required).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience directly managing timelines and deliverables across creative and production workflows.
- Familiarity with AI-powered productivity tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Gemini, Notion AI, etc.) and an interest in leveraging emerging technologies to improve workflow efficiency and insight generation.
- Exposure to sponsorship strategy, partnership activation, or integrated campaign delivery.
- Passion for culture, innovation, and helping brands show up meaningfully in the world.
