Merlin is seeking an experienced digital music operations professional to join its Partnership Operations team. You'll help manage relationships with digital partners, support the operations of Merlin deals, and ensure Merlin's independent members get the most from its partnerships.
This role is ideal for someone with a background in digital music operations who enjoys improving processes, solving complex operational challenges, and working across teams in a fast-moving industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Support day-to-day operational relationships with digital partners
- Manage operations for Merlin partnerships, including Apple, Meta, and YouTube
- Assist with the implementation of new DSP partnerships
- Resolve operational issues and gather feedback from Merlin members
- Improve workflows and operational processes across the partnership team
- Monitor industry and technical developments, including DDEX standards
- Collaborate with supply chain partners to ensure efficient content delivery
- Prepare and distribute operational communications to members

Requirements
- Previous experience in digital music, distribution, labels, or artist services, ideally in content operations
- Strong understanding of digital music distribution, DSPs, and digital supply chain operations
- Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, Airtable, and project management tools
- Commercial awareness and the ability to manage confidential information

Desirable
- Existing relationships within the independent music industry or digital partner ecosystem
- Experience with digital supply chain standards, including DDEX and Apple specifications
