Job Description Senior Cost Manager – UK Infrastructure
We are currently seeking personable, enthusiastic, and energetic individuals to join our Contract and Cost Management team and support our continuing growth in UK infrastructure.
Main Purpose of the Role
You will serve as a Senior Cost Manager within our UK Infrastructure business, working across a variety of client and company projects and initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Establishing friendly, professional, and appropriate relationships with clients, colleagues, and other project stakeholders.

Administering various contracts in alignment with project objectives and policies.
-
Providing accurate project cost monitoring, forecasting, and reporting throughout the lifecycle, adhering to budgets.

Proactively monitoring and managing cost variances and contract cash flow, ensuring timely and correct applications for payments.

Collaborating with client and contractor teams to manage:
- Delivery of project deliverables
- Key performance metrics (KPIs)
- Objectives, including programme performance, cost control, and value engineering.

Effectively managing contract changes to maintain governance and uphold best practice.

Driving improvements in the accuracy of forecasts and budgets.

Offering commercial expertise and support to all stakeholders.

Negotiating and agreeing final accounts.

Managing commission processes as required.
Preferred Experience and Qualifications
Previous experience or a demonstrated understanding of the following would be highly advantageous:

- Governance processes
- Collaborative working approaches

- Ideally hold, or be pursuing, a degree (or equivalent) in a relevant field
- Ideally hold, or be pursuing, membership in an appropriate professional body (or equivalent).
