About the Role
This large global asset management firm has a substantial London office and a well-regarded legal team. A vacancy has arisen for a Senior Legal Counsel to support the business on institutional and distribution work. In a pivotal role focusing on European matters, you will be working very closely with stakeholders across the business, especially the product and client account management teams in Luxembourg, Germany, Italy, and Switzerland.

Responsibilities
- Support the business on institutional and distribution work.
- Focus on European matters, working closely with stakeholders.
- Collaborate with product and client account management teams in Luxembourg, Germany, Italy, and Switzerland.
Requirements
- At least 7 years' PQE.
- Strong relationship-building skills.
- Gravitas to lead negotiations.
- Strong academic background and solid training.
- Previous experience in cross-border institutional investment management and relevant regulations.
- Ability to make strategic commercial decisions.
- Exposure to Luxembourg funds and/or German or Italian language skills is beneficial.
