- Job Title: Senior Cover Supervisor
- Employment Status: Permanent
- Working Hours: Term time plus 5 days, 32 hours per week
- Salary: Grade 5 £21,914 – £26,386 pro rata per annum (Full-time equivalent: £28,598 – £34,434 per annum)
- Location: Stockingford Academy
- Start Date: September 2026
About the Role
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, dynamic, and flexible team player for the role of Senior Cover Supervisor.
Essential Criteria
We are looking for someone who:
- Is an inspiring, energetic individual with excellent classroom management skills
- Has relevant experience of working with and supporting primary-aged pupils
- Can promote positive values and attitudes within the classroom
- Understands the importance of safeguarding and protecting children, including:
- Knowing what to do if they have concerns about a child
- Providing a safe learning environment
- Supporting children’s welfare
- Undertaking regular safeguarding and child protection training
- Familiarising themselves with KCSIE Part 1 and local policies as directed by the trust/academy
