About Astoria Care Consultancy

Astoria Care Consultancy is one of the UK's leading specialist CQC registration consultancies, helping providers across England successfully register with the Care Quality Commission.

We support clients across both health and social care, providing expert guidance through every stage of the registration process—from initial applications and supporting documentation to interview preparation and post-registration support.

As demand for our services continues to grow, we are looking for an experienced regulatory professional to join our team in a senior role, helping us maintain the exceptional quality standards our clients have come to expect.

About the Role

This is not a standard consultancy position.

You will become one of the senior technical experts within the business, working closely alongside our Principal CQC Consultant to deliver exceptional outcomes for our clients.

You'll review complex applications, provide technical guidance, prepare clients for CQC interviews, answer regulatory queries and help maintain the high standards that underpin our reputation.

Over time, there will also be genuine opportunities to shape our delivery processes and play a key role as the business continues to grow.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review CQC registration applications to ensure they meet our quality standards before submission.
  • Provide technical advice and guidance to clients throughout the registration process.
  • Deliver interview preparation sessions for Registered Managers and Nominated Individuals.
  • Respond to complex technical and regulatory enquiries.
  • Support our delivery team with quality assurance and best practice.
  • Work closely with our Principal CQC Consultant on complex registrations and challenging cases.
  • Provide technical cover during periods of annual leave.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of our templates, systems, processes and knowledge base.
  • Maintain an exceptional level of accuracy and attention to detail across all work.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
