Senior Creative Designer

Join Our Senior Designer Team at Butternut Box

Fresh Food, Happy Dogs.

We believe dogs deserve the healthiest, most natural, and tastiest meals—free from the nasties. That’s why we make freshly prepared food, cooked like it’s homemade and delivered in perfect portions. As a B-Corp certified company, we’re a sustainable business that prioritises people, products, and our impact on the planet. Our mission? To help dogs live healthier, happier, and longer lives—while ensuring everyone smiles after every interaction.

Since our co-founders (Kev & Dave) hand-delivered the first Butternut Box, we’ve grown from a local idea to feeding hundreds of thousands of hungry dogs across the UK and Europe. Our ambition? To continue scaling—and you can be part of it.

The Job

(This role closes: 26th June 2026)

We’re seeking a Senior Designer who can own projects end-to-end, balance craft with commercial impact, and elevate the quality and consistency of everything our Creative Studio delivers.

This isn’t just another brief-takes-execute role—it’s an own-the-outcome position. You’ll:

  • Move performance metrics,
  • Raise creative standards,
  • Mentor a small but mighty team,
  • And pioneer AI-driven design before the industry follows suit.

You’ll report directly to the Creative Studio Lead and work across a mix of projects including CRM, paid social, packaging, OOH, direct sales, and more.

What You’ll Do

Project Ownership & Execution

  • Take full ownership of creative projects from concept to delivery, spanning digital (CRM, paid social) and print (packaging, OOH, direct sales).
  • Lead campaign concepts, from pitching ideas to securing buy-in—don’t wait for the brief.
  • Be the brand guardian across every touchpoint, ensuring consistency from a small digital banner to a large-scale event stand.

AI & Data-Driven Creativity

  • Stay ahead of the curve by proactively integrating AI tools into your workflow for ideation, personalisation, production, and efficiency.
  • Use performance data (CTR, CVR, A/B test outcomes) to inform every creative iteration, continuously improving our highest-revenue channels.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
