Senior Creative Strategist

Senior Creative Strategist – RAW London

At RAW, the Senior Creative Strategist plays a truly pivotal role. Taking full ownership of a diverse range of charity sector accounts, you will lead on developing the big creative, campaign, and content strategies that underpin our ideas—from creative propositions, messaging platforms, to innovative fundraising products.

About the Role

Working closely with our account, creative, and production teams, you'll partner with client stakeholders to understand their goals, challenges, and market trends. You will leverage research, facilitate workshops, and challenge briefs to transform complex data into internal creative briefs that inspire standout work.

As a senior leader, you'll also:

  • Pitch bold new business ideas
  • Collaborate with our Strategy Director to evolve RAW’s approach to strategy, bringing fresh perspectives to new client challenges

We’re looking for someone with:

  • A strong background delivering creative strategies within the third sector, either in-house or through an agency
  • A passion for how creativity as a force for change can shape impactful outcomes for charities

Key Responsibilities

At the heart of the role you’ll:

  • Lead strategy for accounts across:
    • Campaign strategies
    • Insight reports
    • Messaging platforms
    • Fundraising products
    • Creative briefs that push boundaries
  • Conduct audience, market, and behavioural research to inform strategic direction, sometimes partnering with external research teams
  • Challenge and refine client briefs, injecting bold creativity where it matters most
  • Help craft and pitch insight-driven ideas to secure new business opportunities
  • Work alongside our accounts team to identify upselling opportunities and grow client relationships
  • Collaborate with clients to understand stakeholder goals and emerging challenges
  • Facilitate workshops, reviews, and strategic discussions with client stakeholders
  • Partner with our creative team to shape standout campaign ideas
  • Support clients navigating changing fundraising landscapes
  • Assess gaps and opportunities for best practice evolution, improving RAW’s strategy approach

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
