What you’ll do

As Senior Credit Risk Analyst - Cards, you will collaborate with a team of industry-leading experts to shape key aspects of the credit lifecycle for our unsecured credit cards portfolio. You will analyse data, create insightful reports and contribute to customer acquisition and management strategies.

A key Commercial team member, you will support with driving insight and change across the function. You will be part of a small but growing team that drive the business to meet its growth objectives and improving customer outcomes. You will need to be able to build reports, pull out important information and use that to inform strategy.

Key responsibilities and objectives

  • Analyse delinquency, roll rates and loss emergence by risk grade, scorecard, vintage and product segment; identify deterioration trends early and quantify their P&L impact.
  • Design and implement credit policy development — analysing the impact of proposed rule changes on approval rates, risk mix and expected loss before they go live.
  • Track the commercial performance view of the cards portfolio — tracking revenue, net interest margin, delinquency and profitability by segment product, and vintage.
  • Design and maintain credit risk MI across the full cards lifecycle — acquisition, activation, utilisation, arrears and charge-off — ensuring senior stakeholders always have a reliable, current view of portfolio health.
  • Identify and size growth opportunities across the customer lifecycle — acquisition mix, credit limit increase strategies, balance transfer campaigns and customer engagement initiatives.
  • Lead portfolio strategy reviews, assessing the impact of credit policy, pricing and product changes on both commercial outcomes and customer outcomes.
  • Collaborate with our Partnerships team to support and develop bespoke partnership strategies.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices related to commercial data analysis.
  • Identify opportunities to introduce innovative data analysis techniques or tools to enhance team performance.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
