Senior CRO Developer

Senior CRO Developer

Location: London (Hybrid - 2–3 days per week in office) Salary: Up to £60,000

A digital optimisation agency specialising in analytics, SEO, and experimentation is seeking a Senior CRO Developer to join their expanding team.

Role Overview

Informative, solutions-focused experimentation plays a central part in accelerating business growth. In this role, the Senior CRO Developer will take ownership of technical experimentation execution, contributing creative, fast-paced input to A/B and multivariate tests.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and deploy A/B and multivariate tests across multiple client websites
  • Collaborate closely with CRO and optimisation teams to deliver experiments
  • Support ongoing conversion performance optimisation for client accounts
  • Occasionally be client-facing to facilitate technical delivery discussions
  • Work as part of a small, agile CRO development team, taking ownership of builds

Key Requirements

  • Strong experience in CRO/experimentation development (agency experience preferred)
  • Hands-on experience with tools such as Optimizely, VWO, or similar
  • Comfortable in a high-output environment (expectation: ~20 tests/month)
  • Strong technical understanding of web development and testing frameworks
  • Ability to work independently and manage workload across multiple clients
  • Applicable experience with JavaScript, JavaScript libraries, and common HTML/CSS markup languages
  • Clientside or serverside experience is a plus
  • Strong problem-solving abilities in technical development
