Eni is seeking a Senior Crude Operations Specialist within Eni Trade & Biofuels (ETB) based in London. This position involves collaboration with traders, analysts, and other cross-functional teams to manage crude and oil product operations, focusing on physical trading and supply chain efficiency.
The role is dynamic, with a flexible approach to knowledge-sharing across the operations team while providing cover when needed. Occasional out-of-hours work may be required based on business demands.
Why Join ETB?

-
Crude Trading & Shipping Operations:
- Lead strategic decision-making for the North Sea commodities portfolio, including physical cargoes (equity and third-party).
- Optimise operations for raw material sourcing, including equity production, contractual adjustments, smolt and chain documentation.
- Escalate and resolve logistical, technical, and contractual disputes, working cross-functionally to minimise costs and mitigate risks.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
