Senior CT & General Radiographer
Welbeck Oxford Oxford | Full-Time | 40 Hours | Monday to Friday £40,000 - £48,000 + Excellent Benefits
Compass Associates are delighted to be working exclusively with Welbeck Health Partners on the launch of their brand-new diagnostic and day-case hospital in Oxford.
Building on the success of their flagship London facility, Welbeck is expanding its network with a state-of-the-art centre designed to deliver high-quality diagnostic and outpatient services across a range of specialties including Cardiology, Respiratory Medicine, ENT, Gastroenterology, Neurology, and Orthopaedics. This is an opportunity to join the founding imaging team and play a key role in establishing CT and General Radiography services within a brand-new healthcare environment.
The Role
As a Senior CT & General Radiographer, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging services across CT and General X-Ray while supporting the safe and efficient running of the department. You will contribute to delivering excellent patient care, maintaining clinical standards, and supporting the ongoing development of imaging services as the hospital grows. This position offers the opportunity to work in a modern environment with access to new technology while helping shape the future of imaging services within a growing independent healthcare provider.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform a wide range of CT and General Radiography examinations to a high clinical standard.
- Ensure compliance with IR(ME)R 2017, IRR17, and departmental imaging protocols.
- Administer intravenous contrast media in accordance with PGDs and local procedures.
- Work collaboratively with Radiologists, Consultants, and multidisciplinary teams to support patient care pathways.
- Support service development initiatives, quality improvement projects, and departmental audits.
- Participate in quality assurance testing, equipment checks, and governance activities.
- Assist with the supervision, training, and support of junior radiographers and students.
- Maintain accurate patient records and imaging data using RIS, PACS, and other relevant systems.
- Contribute to the smooth day-to-day operation of the imaging department.
- Maintain professional registration, mandatory training, and ongoing CPD.

Requirements
- HCPC Registered Radiographer.
- BSc Diagnostic Radiography (or equivalent).
- Minimum 3 years' post-registration UK CT experience.
- Experience working across CT and General Radiography.
- Previous theatre imaging experience.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Cardiac CT experience desirable.
- CT Colonography experience desirable.
- Paediatric imaging experience desirable.
