Senior Customer Risk Manager
Senior Customer Risk Manager
As Senior Customer Risk Manager, you'll join the Customer Safety & Wellbeing Team, which looks after customers across the whole holiday journey. The team covers safety, security, welfare, incident response, crisis management and business continuity, working with partners across every source market and destination to strengthen our resilience and safety performance.
This role focuses on the safety and quality of our third party suppliers, from hotels to transport and experience providers. You'll set the direction for how we manage supplier risk, and work closely with commercial teams to make sure safety is properly considered in decisions about who we work with.
You will be responsible for:
- Leading the design and improvement of our risk management framework for suppliers across accommodation, transport and experiences
- Making sure due diligence is carried out when we select, onboard and monitor hotels, partners and service providers
- Setting clear thresholds for when to escalate, step in or end a supplier relationship, so customers aren't exposed to unreasonable risk
- Using data, technology and audit methods to improve how we assess and score supplier risk
- Overseeing supplier performance against contracts, brand standards and our agreed risk appetite
- Improving the safety tools and digital platforms the team uses, and bringing in new technology, remote audits and better data where it helps
- Advising commercial and contracting teams so safety is factored into supplier negotiations and decisions
- Working with Legal to make sure supplier contracts include clear safety, compliance and audit provisions
- Building relationships with suppliers, service providers and industry partners to encourage shared accountability
- Providing guidance on international supplier safety standards and regulatory requirements
- Reporting risk insights and emerging concerns to senior stakeholders and governance forums
- Building and leading a team of safety specialists
- Maintaining a network of external audit providers and specialist consultants to support the team's work

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
