Senior Cyber Security Consultant
Thanks to continued growth, we are now seeking a Senior Cyber Security Consultant to join our Digital Risks Protect Advisory Team in London. This is a unique opportunity that requires a highly motivated and diligent client-facing individual to join a highly successful team.
As the Senior Cyber Security Consultant, you will:
- Help deliver Control Risks’ cyber security risk assessment engagements, primarily across the EMEA region
- Act as a subject matter expert on cyber security risk assessments
- Demonstrate experience and expertise in delivering cyber security risk assessments
- Possess effectiveness in working with senior client stakeholders
- Be a team player passionate about delivering high-quality advice to some of the world’s largest organisations
This role requires:
- A commitment to be onsite in our London office at least three days per week, hybrid working basis
- Flexibility to travel in Europe and beyond
The role suits someone with:
- Good experience in cyber security assurance or security advisory roles
- A deep understanding of the cyber security challenges facing our clients
## Key Responsibilities
Managing and Delivering Client Projects
- Deliver projects such as:
- Conducting asset identification exercises
- Performing cyber risk assessments against ISO and NIST CSF 2.0 standards
- Demonstrating cyber audit expertise
- Manage client meetings and maintain positive client relationships
- Provide line management and upskilling for junior Digital Risks Protect team members
- Act as a virtual CISO for clients on an ongoing basis
- Project management of multiple engagements, including:
- Running kick-off meetings
- Refining outputs and developing recommendations
- Presenting findings while maintaining client confidence
- Offer flexible and responsive support for crisis management as required

Business Development
- Own the end-to-end development of proposals for future work
- Perform project scoping and planning to support pricing
- Maintain up-to-date presale documentation
- Contribute to complex, multi-service line proposals
- Cultivate long-term client relationships
- Participate in marketing activities to strengthen the Control Risks brand
## Requirements
Essential
- Demonstrated experience delivering cyber security risk assessments within a global consultancy framework
- Proven experience conducting risk assessments (across NIST CSF, 800-53, and ISO27001 standards) for multiple clients
- Strong expertise in IT and network infrastructure, with cyber security best-practice knowledge
- Ability to explain technical concepts in non-technical terms to senior executives

Desired
- Operational technology (OT) cyber security best practice understanding
- Working knowledge of:
- EU critical infrastructure information security regulations
- Personal data protection and cyber security obligations in the broader European region
- Comprehensive understanding of:
- Cyber security governance, standards, and compliance frameworks
- Business process outsourcing and third-party cyber and information security risks
- North European or broader European cyber risk knowledge
- Degree qualification (undergraduate or postgraduate) in:
- Security, information security, intelligence, or computer science
- Reputable certifications, including:
- CISSP, CISM
- ISO27001 Lead Auditor
- SANS or equivalent
