Flogas Ireland has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Cylinder Sales Executive to support and grow our cylinder gas business across Northern Ireland. This is a permanent position based in our Belfast office with travel throughout the region required.

The successful candidate will be responsible for driving cylinder sales growth, managing key customer relationships and identifying new business opportunities across the Northern Ireland market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of and drive sales of Flogas products within the assigned geographical area.
  • Manage and develop the existing customer base, maintaining high levels of customer retention and satisfaction.
  • Identify and secure new business opportunities within the dealer and commercial cylinder propane sectors through prospecting, networking and cold calling while maintaining a strong sales pipeline.
  • Build and maintain relationships with Trading Managers and Business Development Managers within the symbol central billing sector.
  • Provide effective account management for existing customers, engaging with decision-makers and key stakeholders to ensure issues are resolved promptly and professionally.
  • Liaise closely with delivery agents and distributors across the region to support business growth and customer service level excellence.
  • Work collaboratively with the Marketing Department to implement dealer development initiatives and drive sales growth.
  • Monitor competitor activity and provide regular market intelligence reports to the Head of Cylinder Business and Marketing Department.
  • Manage all company point-of-sale (POS) materials, signage and cylinder cages within the region. Ensuring all replacements, upgrades, deliveries and collections are completed as required.
  • Demonstrate a proactive and self-motivated approach, working independently to achieve sales targets and identify new growth opportunities.
  • Maintain and update customer and sales records accurately within the CRM system.
  • Undertake additional duties and responsibilities as required.

  • Minimum of 5-7 years' sales experience.
  • Experience within the LPG or cylinder gas industry is desirable but not essential.

Skills And Knowledge

  • Proactive, motivated and able to work independently.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and customer service skills.
  • Strong account management and relationship building abilities.
  • Good analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience using CRM systems and sales reporting tools.
  • A full clean driving license is required for this role.
