EDF, a leader in the transition towards An Electric Britain, is seeking a Senior Data Analyst within the Customers Finance team to play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data across all systems and reporting. Your work will support data-driven decision-making, improve business performance, and enhance data quality frameworks.
This role offers:

Key Responsibilities
You’ll be responsible for:
- Analysing financial datasets across revenue, billing, and debt to identify trends and actionable insights
- Strengthening data quality controls, including:
- Reconciliations
- Validation frameworks
- Exception reporting
- Investigating anomalies through deep-dive analysis to uncover improvement opportunities
- Collaborating with Finance, Operations, and Technology teams to develop data-driven recommendations
- Driving continuous improvement in reporting accuracy and data handling processes

Essential Qualifications & Experience
To thrive as a Senior Data Analyst at EDF, we’re looking for:
- Strong SQL proficiency, with hands-on experience managing large-scale, production systems
- Ability to diagnose and optimise imperfect datasets, applying logic and critical thought to enhance data trust
- Experience building and refining data validation, reconciliation, or control processes
- Exposure to financial, billing-related, or operational data (including revenue or transactional datasets)
- Commercial acumen—your insights must directly link to financial performance or strategic outcomes
- Highthouse-tested task management skills with a knack for prioritisation under tight deadlines
- Stakeholder communication skills—presenting data clearly for executive decision-making
