This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Data Analyst to join a growing data function within a well-established, data-driven organisation. You'll play a key role in shaping how data is used across the business, partnering with senior stakeholders and delivering analytics that influence strategic decision-making.

The Data Analytics and Data Engineering teams work closely together, creating a collaborative and highly visible data function. The Role

As a Senior Data Analyst, you will act as a trusted partner to stakeholders across the business, combining technical expertise with strong commercial awareness.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering end-to-end analytics projects from requirements gathering through to insight delivery
  • Developing complex SQL queries within a cloud-based data warehouse environment
  • Building and maintaining Power BI dashboards and reporting solutions
  • Translating business challenges into actionable analytical solutions
  • Partnering with senior stakeholders to define KPIs and measure performance
  • Presenting insights and recommendations to leadership teams and executives
  • Supporting a major customer data transformation programme and other strategic initiatives
  • Working closely with Data Engineering, Project Management, and Transformation teams to drive business outcomes
  • Identifying opportunities to improve reporting, analytics processes, and decision-making across the organisation

Your Skills & Experience

  • Strong commercial experience in Data Analytics within a business-facing environment
  • Advanced SQL skills, including CTEs and Window Functions
  • Experience developing dashboards and reporting solutions in Power BI
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Azure data environments
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Experience presenting data-driven recommendations to senior leadership
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and work independently
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capability
