Job Summary
Working closely with the Executive Board and key stakeholders across RE:GEN Group and Business Units, the Senior Data Analyst will transform complex business data into clear, actionable insights that drive data-informed decision-making throughout the organisation.
The ideal candidate will have substantial experience of working in a similar role, possess a strong analytical background, have exceptional communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively across multiple departments to understand their data needs and deliver relevant reports, dashboards, and presentations.
Daily Responsibility
Specific objectives and deliverables will be agreed as part of your annual People Engagement Process (RE:PEP) however as Senior Data Analyst, you will be expected to:
- Collect, analyse, and interpret data to provide actionable insights and recommendations.
- Collaborate with key business stakeholders to define data analysis goals and requirements.
- Develop and maintain data visualisation dashboards and reports.
- Identify data trends, patterns, and anomalies to inform and support business decisions.
- Automate data collection and reporting processes where applicable.
- Communicate data-driven findings and recommendations to business teams.
- Drive data-driven decision-making and contribute to business growth through insightful analysis.
- Stay updated on data analysis tools and techniques.

Qualifications
Essential
- Minimum of a level 6 qualification (Bachelor’s degree) in mathematics, computer science, computing, statistics, science, or a data related subject.
Desirable
- Level 7 qualification (Master’s degree) in mathematics, computer science, computing, statistics, science, or a data related subject.
Experience & Skills
Essential
- Minimum of 5 years working in a similar level analytical role, with a proven ability to extract, evaluate, and interpret complex data.
- Strong proficiency using analytical software to cleanse and present data.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with a proactive approach to analysing data and identifying growth opportunities.
- Proven ability to work effectively with various teams and stakeholders.
- Excellent communication skills to present technical information to non-technical audiences clearly and persuasively.
- Ability to manage workload priorities in alignment with business needs.
Desirable
- Experience in database design, data modelling, and segmentation techniques.
- Experience with machine learning techniques and their business applications.
- Programming experience with frameworks such as XML, JavaScript, and ETL processes.

Specific Software Skills
Essential
- SQL: Ability to write simple queries to extract and filter data from databases efficiently.
- MS Power BI: Ability to create informative and insightful dashboards and related datasets.
- MS Excel: Ability to manipulate and cleanse data, write formulas, create pivot tables, and produce relevant data tables and/or charts.
- SQL: Ability to write complex and accurate queries to extract and filter data from relevant databases.
- MS Forms: Ability to design, create and maintain forms and manage collection of form-related data.
- MS Power Automate: Ability to design, create, and maintain automated workflows to manage data.
- MS SharePoint: Ability to setup, manage, and maintain site pages and content.
Desirable
- Google Sheets: Experience/knowledge of basic functionality.
- MS Excel VBA: Experience in writing/debugging scripts used to automate data processing.
- Python / R: Experience of using analytical programming languages with data.
