This role will play a critical part in data migration, data quality assurance, and business analysis, ensuring the accurate and efficient transition of legacy data into new strategic platforms. The successful candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and third-party vendors to deliver high-quality, compliant, and insight-driven data solutions within a large and complex financial environment.

Hybrid working:

The places that you work from day to day will vary according to your role, your needs, and those of the business; it will be a blend of Company offices, client sites, and your home; noting that you will be unable to work at home 100% of the time.

Your Role:

2. Business Analysis

  • Elicit, analyse, and document business requirements related to data, reporting, and processes
  • Translate business needs into functional data specifications and user stories
  • Facilitate workshops with stakeholders across operations, finance, risk, and IT
  • Conduct gap analysis between current and target data models/processes
  • Support development of business data definitions, data dictionaries, and lineage documentation
  • Assist in defining data governance frameworks and controls

3. Data Analysis & Reporting

  • Analyse large datasets to generate actionable insights supporting decision-making
  • Develop dashboards and reports using tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, or similar
  • Perform trend analysis and data validation for financial products (e.g., savings, bonds)
  • Ensure compliance with financial reporting standards and regulatory requirements
  • Support audit and compliance requests with accurate data extracts and documentation

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
