Senior Data Analyst
As a Senior Data Analyst, you’ll play a pivotal role in transforming Lumina’s consumer, market and behavioural datasets into actionable commercial intelligence for both internal stakeholders and external clients.
Working closely within the data team and collaborating with insight teams and customer success managers, you’ll develop advanced analytical solutions, forecasting methodologies, and predictive models that enhance Lumina’s data products and consultancy offering. By exploring opportunities within complex datasets, you’ll uncover emerging trends and deliver meaningful recommendations that support strategic decision-making.
Your impact will be felt through your curiosity and instinct for asking why, helping to build trust in how data is interpreted and bring greater clarity to how people decide, buy, and consume across the food and drink landscape.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Developing advanced analytical solutions that generate actionable insights from Lumina’s proprietary datasets
- Translating complex analytical findings into compelling narratives, recommendations, and presentations through effective storytelling
- Designing and implementing forecasting and predictive models that support client decision-making and product development
- Partnering with Insight, Research, and Commercial teams to answer high-value business questions
- Building scalable analytical workflows and automation using Python and SQL
- Maintaining and enhancing client-facing dashboards to ensure analytical findings are communicated effectively
- Evaluating and implementing new analytical methodologies, technologies, and approaches
- Contributing to the development of new data products and data strategy

What You’ll Need
- A naturally curious mindset, with a genuine interest in exploring data and asking why
- Stakeholder management and communication skills, including explaining analysis clearly to different audiences
- SQL and data manipulation skills
- Python programming capability for analytics, automation, and modeling
- Experience analysing large-scale survey, consumer, or behavioural datasets
- Statistical analysis and forecasting techniques
- Data modelling and analytical framework development
- Ability to identify trends, drivers, and commercial opportunities from data
- Experience translating complex analysis into clear business recommendations
- Experience creating dashboards and data visualisations that convey insights effectively
Desirable:
- Predictive analytics, machine learning, and AI applications experience
- Usage of AI-enabled tools and workflows to enhance analytics (e.g., Copilot, Codex, Claude)
