Location: Hereford (Hybrid – 3 days per week) Employment Type: Permanent Status: Actively Hiring Salary: £55,000-£60,000 + Excellent Benefits
WRK digital are proud to be partnering exclusively with a high-profile e-commerce organisation who are currently shortlisting for a Senior Data Analyst to join them on a permanent basis.
As a Senior Data Analyst, you will work hands-on with some of the best modern tools in BI and analytics. You will ensure data accuracy and consistent reporting by designing and creating optimal processes and procedures, acting as a technical guide for your team. You will lead by example in extracting actionable insights from company data to understand performance, solve complex problems, and empower business growth.
Key Requirements:
- Hands-on Development: Build, develop, and maintain complex data models, reporting systems, data automation systems, dashboards, and performance metrics that support key business decisions.
- Team Leadership & Mentorship: Directly manage, motivate, and engage a team of two data analysts. Provide hands-on technical support, code/query reviews, and mentorship to foster their professional development.
- Insight Generation: Champion actionable insights and focus your team around their efficient development and delivery.
- Project Leadership: Lead cross-functional projects using advanced data analysis techniques to discover insights that will guide strategic decisions and uncover optimization opportunities.
- Workflow Management: Oversee the team's data request process, including tracking submitted requests, assessing scope, prioritizing effectively, and delegating tasks.

Key Criteria:

- A practical background in data and analytics space where you have demonstrated the ability to use data for actionable insight.
- Strong SQL skills, ability to perform effective querying of large-scale datasets.
- Experience working with and creating databases and dashboards using all relevant data to inform decisions.
- Experience with cloud databases, Google Cloud Platform, Looker and/or Google Analytics would be advantageous.
- Excellent organisational, problem-solving, project management and communication skills.
