Senior Data Analyst

London - hybrid 2x a week in office
Up to £50,000

This is a high impact Senior Data Analyst role where you will shape how a growing business uses data to drive commercial performance. You will sit close to revenue generating teams, owning dashboards, insights and reporting that influence decision making across digital products, events and subscriptions.

The Company

They are an established international media and events business with a strong presence in a specialist B2B sector. Their portfolio spans digital platforms, publications, events and data products, giving them a diverse and data rich environment. With a long-standing reputation and backing from a wider European group, they continue to invest in data capabilities to enhance customer engagement and commercial outcomes. Their UK team is collaborative, with data embedded within the commercial function.

The Role

  • Take ownership of reporting and analytics across multiple business lines, working closely with stakeholders across marketing, sales, product and events.
  • Design, build and maintain dashboards for business and executive reporting.
  • Develop KPI reporting across websites, subscriptions, events, CRM and digital products.
  • Analyse audience behaviour, campaign performance, email engagement and product usage.
  • Deliver post campaign and post event analysis alongside ongoing performance reporting.
  • Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define reporting needs and success metrics.
  • Support data quality, troubleshoot reporting issues and improve data reliability.
  • Work alongside data engineering and external partners to enhance reporting infrastructure.
  • Continuously improve dashboards, processes and data standards while ensuring GDPR compliance.

Your Skills and Experience

  • Strong SQL skills with experience working in Google BigQuery or similar data warehouses.
  • Experience using GA4 and Google Tag Manager for digital analytics.
  • Proven ability to build dashboards in tools such as Looker Studio, Power BI or Tableau.
  • Advanced Excel and strong proficiency across Microsoft 365 tools.
  • Experience working with CRM platforms and marketing data.
  • Strong commercial experience delivering insights that influence business decisions.
  • Ability to communicate data clearly to a range of stakeholders.
  • Experience working with digital products, media, publishing or events data is highly beneficial.
